Gas and electricity for your home
Changes to meter appointments today
Severe weather conditions in some areas of the country today are currently affecting our ability to safely reach planned metering appointments in the following postcode areas:
HR, SY, TF and WR
We'll do what we can to contact those customers affected in advance and where needed, agree a revised visit date. In the affected areas, we may need to suspend part or all of our planned activities in order to complete emergency work and support customers who find themselves in vulnerable situations.
We'll continue to review the situation and will update this information when there's any change.

npower plans to merge with SSE's domestic retail business in Great Britain
npower announced that it plans to merge with SSE's domestic retail business in Great Britain to create a major new energy supply and services company. We would like to assure npower customers that there are no changes to tariffs, products or our terms and conditions.
It will be a long process of many months before the two businesses can combine into one – including getting the necessary competition authority approval – so for now it is business as usual.
